Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Appear Tech, we strive to provide high-quality digital services, including Web Design, SEO, and Digital Marketing. We understand that circumstances may change, and we want to ensure a transparent process regarding cancellations and refunds.

1. Cancellation Policy

Clients may request to cancel their service agreement under the following conditions:

  • Project-Based Services (Web Design & Development): Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24–48 hours of the initial payment to be eligible for a full or partial stop-work refund. Once the design or development phase has begun, cancellation fees may apply based on the work completed.
  • Monthly Subscription Services (SEO & Digital Marketing): Since these are ongoing monthly services, you can cancel your subscription at any time. However, the cancellation will take effect from the following billing cycle. We require at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing date to process the cancellation.

2. Refund Policy

Our refund policy varies depending on the type of service purchased:

Web Design & Development

  • If a project is canceled before any work has started, a full refund (minus transaction fees) will be issued.
  • If the project is in the “Mockup” or “Design” stage, a 50% refund of the deposit may be granted.
  • Once the website is developed, hosted, or the final files are delivered, no refunds will be issued.

SEO & Digital Marketing

  • SEO and Marketing involve manual labor and third-party costs (ads, tools, content). Therefore, payments for these services are non-refundable once the month’s work has commenced.
  • As per our brochure, SEO is a long-term process (taking approximately 6 months for best results); therefore, we do not offer refunds based on short-term ranking fluctuations.

Domain & Hosting

  • Domain Registration: Once a domain (e.g., .com, .com.bd) is registered, it cannot be “un-registered” or refunded as per global registry rules.
  • Hosting: Hosting services are eligible for a refund within the first 7 days of purchase if there is a technical failure on our end that we cannot resolve.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Delay in project delivery caused by the client’s failure to provide necessary content, images, or feedback.
  • Changes in the client’s mind or business direction after work has been completed.
  • Third-party costs such as Google Ads spend, Meta Ads spend, or premium plugin licenses.

Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method (bKash, Nagad, or Bank Transfer) within 7–10 working days.

5. Policy Updates

Appear Tech reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page and will apply to all active and future contracts. Check our terms and conditions.
